Find your hub
The dashboard runs on your hub target, not on the internet. Open it in your browser at one of these addresses.
Your phone is on your home WiFi
Open http://coldbore.local.
If that doesn't load (some Android phones and older Windows PCs don't support .local names), type the hub's IP address instead, for example http://192.168.1.42. To find it:
- Look in your router's list of connected devices (in its app or admin page). The hub's device name starts with coldbore.
- Or, once you're connected to the dashboard, the hub's card shows its IP address. Note it for next time.
Tip: in your router, reserve the hub's IP address (often called a DHCP reservation or "always use this IP"). Then the address never changes and your bookmark keeps working.
Target Hub mode: your phone is on the hub's own WiFi
Join coldBORE-Hub-XXXX (password coldbore) and open http://192.168.4.1. In this mode the hub's address is always 192.168.4.1. If your phone says "No internet connection", choose stay connected, and turn off "Switch to mobile data" or "Wi-Fi Assist" while you train.
Still can't find it?
- Make sure the hub is on. Turn the hub on first, then the targets.
- Use
http://, nothttps://. Some browsers add https by themselves. - Targets blinking red twice, over and over, can't reach the hub. Turn the hub on, then tap RESET on the target.
- Moved or changed your WiFi? Hold BOOT on the hub for 10 seconds and run setup again.
